Well, we learned a valuable lesson on Sunday about having "well" water! We had some water in the utility room in the evening, so I called a repair person about the sump pump. He advised Kirk to go outside a dig to find the lid to the septic tank...needless to say we have a big pile of dirt/snow in our backyard now. While Kirk was outside digging, the repair person called back and advised checking the breaker. After some more investigating, the repair person decided that there was likely something clogging the pump...he drove out to our house, dug up the sump pump and there was a cotton ball. A cotton ball stopped the whole system. Luckily it was ONLY $150 and there was no permanent damage to anything. Happy flushing!
